About us
NH natives Candi and Rick Ireland have moved back to NH with bold aspirations. Their NH roots were planted long ago (class of 1997 - Milford High School and class of 2001 - University of NH). Their trek back to the Granite State had to wait until their youngest of three children graduated from high school. Moving back from Maine where they have spent the last 20 years raising Isaac, Alana, and Addison, the high school sweethearts, entrepreneurs, and recent empty-nesters, have tasked themselves with continuing the legacy that Marshall and Sunny Bishop have so proudly built.
The Gilmanton Winery and Vineyard sits on a captivating nine acres in Gilmanton farm county, on the rarely traveled dirt covered Meadow Pond Road, just over the Louden town line. 700 grapevines to include Seyval, Concord, Marechal Foch, Marquette, and Itasca grapes, drape across the property with the expected spring pruning and fall harvesting.
With Chef Carolyn Fitzpatrick’s new menu—thoughtfully crafted from fresh, farm-to-table ingredients—each dish is designed to highlight the best of the season and the region. Paired with Gilmanton Winery & Vineyard’s most beloved wines, every meal becomes a curated experience of flavor, balance, and craftsmanship.
Open year-round, Gilmanton Winery & Vineyard is your destination for unforgettable dining, exceptional wine tasting, and genuine hospitality. From seasonal favorites to signature wines, we invite you to experience the flavors our community has come to love—season after season.
